FAQ

Some information to help you during your move

Safe Delivery Services

Moving can be very emotionally and physically draining. Handling delicate or bulky items with care requires specific moving skills and it is common for people to get injured if they attempt this on their own. We highly recommend contacting professionals for this, as you would for many of your household needs, such as plumbing and electricity.

With 25 years of experience as a local moving and long-distance moving company, we can tackle moves of any size or complexity. We treat every move with the personal care you would expect from friends and family.

There are a lot of factors that go into determining our price and the only way to get an accurate estimate is to contact us at 682-802-1625. With that being said some of the things we consider when pricing our moves are:

  • from the moving company to your original home,
  • then to your destination, and
  • back again to the moving company.

Once we have taken an inventory of your furniture and other belongings, we can provide you with a price specific to your move.

We recommend scheduling your move as far in advance as possible. This will increase the chances of us being available and give us enough time to properly prepare for the move. However, we will try to fit accommodate any last-minute customers as well.

We recommend choosing a simple labeling system and making sure all of your boxes are labeled accordingly. For example, you could white MBR for the master bedroom.

Nine times out of ten that is fine, however, if we do need to move clothes you will be told in advance and they will be packed properly and securely.

Safe Delivery Services, and all other licensed movers, will not move hazardous or combustible items like propane tanks, paint, firearms, and aerosols.

We recommend moving expensive items like jewelry and other small valuables yourself in your vehicle. However, if there are larger items like art, antiques, etc. point these items out to your movers at the start of the move so they can plan accordingly.

Unfortunately, we cannot move pets.
